Paris is Always a Good Idea: Arrondissements 1-8
Terri loves Paris and one day she would like to spend part of every year there. We both enjoy not only the art and culture, but the feeling we get just BEING there. There’s just something about Paris.
In a recent video, Paris is Always a Good Idea, we shared some of our favorite places and recommendations for visiting Paris, with a focus on arrondissments 1-8. You will notice we’ve left out arr. 2. It’s not an oversight. For first or second or even third time visitors, we decided to focus elsewhere.
We also visited Paris in May 2024 and offered up some less-busy alternatives, especially during the summer in another recent video.
In this blog post, we are providing a detailed list of the places we recommend in each of the arrondissements. Check the websites for hours and whether reservations are required. Consider getting the Paris Museum Pass if you are visiting multiple places over 2-5 days.
